Prayers please

Some of you know that I had serious lung issues including a rare bacterial infection hich causes pneumonia. I was treated locally with several severe complications, flown to denver for speciality care there, and then back home, with iv meds, got off meds and the pneumonia came back on orals, no progress, now back on iv meds. Going to another specialist now on what to do... Please pray for a healing for me and relief for my husband as he is doing his share and mine on the farm.

I do what I can but am a bit stressed because on my best days I'm about 25% CAPACITY...We've down sized a bit, I've sold a great many of our bunnies and poultry, but I onder now if I will ever be well.... I'm sure God is working His mighty way through all of this and I just wonder if I should stop all meds. Although I have such little resistance or immunity right now. My body is just tired of fighting... Please pray for wisdom for me as well as to what I need to do. Thanks so much and have a Blessed week.

I am so sorry that you are dealing with such stressful poor health. You are will be with me in my thoughts and care.

I am sure that you are familiar with the scripture that says will be not given more than we can bear, but I am sure there are many days when we would rather not have to bear such health issues.

Heavenly Father, please take Nancy up in Your arms and breathe peace and health into her. Remove the challenges from her body so that it may fight and overcome the illness that has been taking the strength from your daughter. Lord, please also look after all of the stock on the farm and give Jacques extra faith and energy as he helps his love through this. Father, we thank You for all You do, all You are, and for You one and only Son, given to save us all. Wrap them all up in Your strength and hear this prayer from all who read it as many voices raised to Your ears, a plea for a wonderful member of your flock. In Jesus's name, Amen.

I'm so very sorry you are so sick, for so long... we can get weary in prolonged illness and/or pain. Sometimes we need a reminder (some encouragement) that God provides all, including Dr.s with their 'gifts' and training. Some are better than others. God gave scientists, researchers, doctors, etc. the gifts they have, led them in the paths they should take. God has provided you with some excellent treatments thus far, and the doctors you have. Some things are trial and error, even for doctors. I pray for you and your family. I pray for your doctors to be wise, led in the right paths and treatments for you, or that a new doctor, new treatment, new medicine, new path will be provided. I pray for your comfort and strength, and that God gives you the recall of His Word, of His promises to "climb any mountain", to give you the strength to endure - and for your quick and complete healing without permanent damage to you lungs, per His will, plan, and timing.

Don't stop taking your medicine.... (please) - take your medicine and your probiotics (or eat a lot of yogurt). God provides your medicine, too, take it. Question (the Dr.) when you need to about if the treatments are right... but, don't stop antibiotics for pneumonia, that could be suicide and your husband needs you, as do your animals and the farm. And, for each day that you wake up, God has a purpose and plan for your life.

And, if you can afford it, you might want to have an "environmental engineer" (or ?) out to check on environmental causes for your infection (on the farm, in the house)? Consider talking to your doctor about this (if you haven't).

Nancy... I pray and believe you will get well. We don't know why we are given these challenges. Let others be strong for you. Raise up at church your need of help with chores. I have seen through your site how you have touched many people. Let the Lord hold you and let others help Jacques. Stay strong. Lean on HIM like no other. Give over to HIM all your worries. Remember how Job lost everything, but still kept going, loving God. You need not be afraid. Trust in the Lord's plan for you. Everyday you are here for a reason. Please please do not give up. HE will not give up on you!

Thank you all, so much.... You know I have so much "family" here at BYC. Today back to another doctor. Grateful for every breath and apologized to God this morning for not always treasuring my health. I am called upo to rejoice in all things... I keep reminding myself that I don't have to know or understand God's will but just allow it to work through me. Plans at present are to pursue placement of the direct port after meds are finished in the picc line. It will be a more sanitary port that can stay in much longer than any other set up at this time. Feeling much better since the doctor droppedd the Heparin from the iv as I picked up 10 pounds of water weight on that and had heart palpitations.

My hubby let me bring in my special pet silkie who visited with me most of the day yesterday and is walking around the great room which has our wonderful wood fireplace/stove that heats our home.... Buffy as Her/his name is is doing the best to cheer me up. He scoots across the floor to peck on my toes and beg to be picked up. Buffy trills with joy when I do!!!! I know this isn't the perfect sterile environment but I so love the laughter and love Buffy brings. Bringing you a picture of him cuddling with his ROO (given to Jacque) by shellyga.

Prayers of total healing! Hang in there. Prayers of strength for your DH and please ask for help.

Edited to add; I read somewhere that there is scientific proof that homemade chicken noodle soup has healing properties. Whenever someone in my circle is sick I make Magic soup.... I tell them it has Prayers, hugs and love in it... If I were close I would make you a pot! Eat lots of it, couldn't hurt.
