I just moved the little snowies to the grow out pen yesterday after moving the large group to their permanent pen.
Beaver is the friendliest, front and center, and will actually sit in my hand even though I haven't handled these guys much at all. Hook, the larger one that is a couple days older than the other two, is starting to get feathers. Can't wait to see what they feather out like! I've also never hoped for a boy so much, either. It's the year of the girl!

Thank you! I really hope Hook is a girl so the head stays lighter with that black bill. Fishy has a pretty dark head, but we'll see what she looks like in adult plumage.

Hahaha! It's a pandemic, I tell ya! I want some bantam Appleyard's, more Aussie's and Aztec's and of course more Calls. We've all got some problems. I also desperately want some 💜ostrich💜, ❤️emu❤️, 💖geese💖, Guinea, quail, pigeons, etc. My mind is already like a zoo, I'd love to live in my own dream aviary/sanctuary/zoo.
But back to real life, I hope to add Geese, and the other ducks I mentioned before going into dreamland 🙈

My name is Heather. I have an addiction problem. It started with chickens and then ducks. Once I figured out how to use an incubator to acquire my fix, that was it. Whenever I tried bantam ducks, calls to be specific, things just got even more out of control. I couldn't tame the inner beast any longer 🤣 :lau :gig

I finally got a couple pics of little Gharth this morning. Guessing he’s a drake, at least she/he hasn’t found a quack yet. But I’m still hoping for a quack.
