Preparing to set call and pekin duck eggs! Hatch day should be March 4, 2021 if all goes well!

I have to share this with you @FunnyfarmMidwest - I had a chicken hen on eggs, I knew they were about due. So over the weekend I checked on her. I hadn’t bothered her at all, since this was her first time. At first I found 4 chicks hatched. Today she brought the chicks off the nest and she hatched 8!
I checked the nest box, one egg left. When I picked it up, I noticed it’s a DUCK egg! (I bet she wondered why it was taking so long to hatch lol!)
So now I have a loner duck egg in my incubator. It’s still moving around. I assume it should hatch in the next 3-4 days.

Oh my gosh! What a surprise!!! 8 adorable chicks and a little duckling surprise! This is so exciting! I’m so excited to see pics of this little fella once it hatches!

I just realised I think this light one on the right is a chocolate. Hard to tell until they get all dry and fluffy.

Nope. I'm not keeping them.
(I keep telling myself that anyway)
If I keep one it'll be this one.

I’m happy to report the little duckling is doing much better this morning. It is holding its head up now and is a lot perkier. It even had a new little black bibbed join it this morning!
The nutridrench definitely helped!

His legs still splay out and he cannot walk but it seems like they’re correcting. I’ll wait a little while before correcting.
