My hubby's aunt sent us some quail eggs. Yay!!! We had some extra room in the incubator so
-->> thankfully a local(ish) farm had some more. Incubator full now.
And of course... I can't be trusted, so we got quail chicks too!! Lol

I want the eggs.
We will try to sell eggs and chicks, or "crates & cartons".

Not many quail breeders in our area. Maybe no one really wants quail. We'll try and see. We are ok with personal use.
I bought all the quail the seller had. She had a mixed batch. A few were on the way too tiny side, but she was very kind and had quickly responded to our messages & we were able to go that same day and get them, so I didn't negotiate price & I bought all her quail and quail eggs she was selling.

She did let us see her chickens she has up for sale... quite a few in a horse stalls, but I deliberately didn't bring more money or crates to haul animals.
But there are three I want, so will discuss with hubby. If I at least get the golden laced cochin, I'll be happy. She was gorgeous.

They are so tiny, a few are super tiny. And so precious. Lady who sold them to us was worried about a few Being too small, that they might not survive. Hoping they make it.

Yep. Thanks so much. I wanted quail before we got our chickens. So it's been a long patient road. Thankfully, my husband opened the door for quail. And I felt a need to jump on that opportunity when it presented itself, for sure.
