No puffy redness
Took this just now. I'm happy with the way it looks, considering. No foul smell. She is actually more spirited. Was not shivering. Wish I could attach the video of her bathing right now. Tonight is the first time I actually feel truly hopeful. Will let her bathe for a bit longer and then will towel dry and air dry. Will feed and give antibiotics then wound care.
How bad is this wound? Can't tell by pic. Sounds like she is working on healing and the wing wound looks very clean.
yeah you could just wrap her wing and not the whole thing, it should probably be more comfortable that way. As for the gash, do the same treating with vetercine and neosporin, but i wouldnt bandage it unless it starts to look bad.Oh, and I was also wondering if I should continue to wrap her wing to her body? Last night, I just dressed it and did not wrap. I don't think it's helping anything except it looks like it would be more comfortable for her.
