probably will cull, need help

Im going to probably have to cull my hen who has a severe prolapsed vent. I just dont see any progress, and if anything, I think its coming out more. What is the best way to do this? I dont want any part in it, my husband will have to do it. Im trying to find suggestions on here but cant really see any. What is the most effective way to do it? A week ago, it would have been no big deal, but I guess you could say we have bonded since Ive been bathing her and stuffing her guts back in for the past couple of days. Poor little thing. She seems fine otherwise. So sad....

It is so sad - poor sweet bird. Some folks on BYC have had success with resolving this medical condition. An avian vet may have a recommendation too. In case it doesn't work out, I'm really sorry -
