Processing Dual-Purpose Chickens??

What age do you guys think is best for taste etc...to process dual-purpose birds if you want good meat for something other than stews??
 
i went online and it said 12 weeks

Depends on the breed and how large you need the culls to be. 12 to 18 weeks works well for alot of breeds. Please keep in mind that home raised birds are usually more firm than store bought cornish X and require slower cooking time.
