PRODUCTION Toulouse Geese Thread!!

Here's a better pic for you all.

So Toots isn´t actually mating with Sam, then? Just letting him climb over her? They´re just babies, another couple of months and it should be clearer. (December!) Funny about the pair the first year!

I don't think Toots is, she is just letting Sam mate with her. Sam is going to have his wings full this coming mating season if all 3 are female. lol

Even if they´re not!......
True, I just hope he continues to like Babe if Babe turns out to be a gander. He is still protective of babe now. I remember how Sammy and my drake Ernie were, ugh. I actually saw Sam go after my one drake the other night this drake has never been afraid of Sam but he is now. lol

Hope Sammie keeps accepting your Babe. Ganders get protective of the females in breeding season. Hope everyone is well been off here for awhile. Been through a lot with bone pain even after my surgery in June to take the parathyroid out of my arm that they transplanted in it. Now find out I have another parathyroid in my neck and need surgery again.

Do you think Babe will end up bigger than Sam? That could mean the adjusting goes on a little longer...let´s hope Babe´s a she.

Ruru, how nice to hear from you. You were missed.
And you have to go through surgery again! Poor soul! Thank goodness you have geese to help you through!

Thanks so much RURU, so good to see you. So sorry for all the pain you are having, hope you soon get all this surgery behind you so you can visit here and feel good again. How are your geese?

Here's a video of Pear and Kiwi... Do you think they like each other or is Pear/Kiwi showing aggression at all? I don't know much about goose behavior.

No aggression at all looks like Pear is interested in the food though, Kiwi seems pretty laid back about it all. That's what it is Pear wants to get into the feed bowl. By the way give them a bucket of water deep enough to wash their heads in, it's very important that they can wash out their nares and eyes. Chicken waterers just don't work with water fowl.
