Poor thing. Sometimes they're just too - special for breeding.So..... I'm removing one of the f1 crested ee from the project. She is too afraid of roosters and change. So to make her life better I'm looking for a new home for her with only hens.
Currently she is inside because she was wedged under the nesting boxes for two days.
Yeah and I don't like seeing her miserable. I already have someone that would make a good home. She's just rehomeing a rooster and can then take her. For now she's in the house in a tote/ homemade crate.
Sounds like you're taking good care of her. Poor thing, she was probably super stressed.
No. Tho I did consider them but they have the wrong coloring for the project. It would make the project longer just getting back to the coloring I want.
Should be some updates come Feb or March. Will be hatching a test of six eggs to see if the girls like the Crevecoeur rooster. If not hes going away and the Lavender Ameraucana will be over them. Then I need to get a few of my Spitz in with them or see about some more Crevecoeur hens.
