I get that, but wouldn't you also want to know what happens after they heal? If they will still be furtile? Will they have future problems? I think this is great thread for information on prolapse penis. I am happy to contribute what I find, I'm just letting you know where my focus is.

For now that's okay, but at some point we (I) might want to move all "post treatment" posts to a different thread.

Yes, all posts are welcome, even your's, though this one is pushing the boundaries a little. Your posts in this thread were well received and appreciated by me, were they not?
The problem yesterday arose when you suggested a treatment plan to someone even though it had not worked for you. Please refer to your posts that say after x days of applying Vaseline that it did not work.

I was at first keeping him in the house in a crate. I cool water bathed him and massaged his Penis with Vaseline twice daily. That didn't work. After 5 days and many different conversations with many different people I decided to put him back outside and see what happened?.
Nothing happened so after two months I contacted more people and was advised to trim the dead tissue off. During this time he never got depressed or sick. He ate and was good. He was more aggressive due to being sexually frustrated though.
I contacted a friend who then watched that same video and she snipped off the dead tissue, clamped in with her fingers and then sprayed blue kote on it.

Yes, I do know what you're talking about and I have an email containing all of your deleted posts. You were advising someone to use Vaseline, which I don't agree with *and* it didn't work for you. Sorry you get frustrated with my questions, but I cannot sit here and say nothing when I think bad advice or incorrect information is being handed out. FYI, you aren't the only one that I question, I question lots of people.

What do you mean it didn't work for me..It was to keep his Penis sealed and moist. He definitely could of lost more of it if I didn't use the Vaseline. It was recommended by a Vet. I did what was told..

Yeah you got lucky, he could have died.

Anyway, about the Vaseline, what I mean is that you tried for five days to get it to go back in. It did not go back in, so you cut him loose and let nature take it's course. Sometime later the tip dies and you had your friend cut it off for you. I'm sorry, but that is not a success story.

You are always telling people that you are to the point, blunt, or whatever, I am just being the same, so please try to see that I am not picking on you, I just have a different idea of what a successful treatment is. Successful to me means healed and no amputation in less than two weeks, not amputation. Amputation = Fail. Death = fail.

You got lucky because a prolapse can get very infected and can cause death just do some searching here one BYC and you'll find a few that found this to be true.

So in closing, I found your advice to be not in line with what I would do and I thought it could be life-threatening.
