Properly putting on chicken bra for pendulous crop.

My Goldie girl recently developed pendulous crop at just 5 months old. I made her a bra but wondering if I put it on her correctly. Should it be tighter on the bottom to help hold the crop up or should it compress the entire crop by being tight at top & bottom? She tolerates it so much better when it's a little loose at the top.
