Puffy eyed peafowl.

What antibiotics do you have and is she still eating and drinking enough? If you have a kitchen scale, you should probably weigh her every few days. The feed store I go to had a peahen that started off looking like your hen. After a couple of weeks the pus mass was so large that she couldn't eat right, so of course she lost tons of weight. She got to the point where she looked like she was going to die, so I offered to "fix" her. It took a few days, but I finally got all of the pus out. While treating her, I was giving her Baytril 15mg/kg by mouth, once a day. I was also tube feeding her baby bird food mixed with Pedialyte since she was not eating.

Well I looked for both baytril and tylan. I need to know where to buy it from. I feel awful I'm not prepared for thus. It's my first time with chicken and peafowls. I have vetericyn for wounds. An nfz puffer some tetracycline powder for the water. Some saline, Vicks, triple antibiotic ointment and tea tree oil. How should I proceed.

Is there any chance you can take her to the vet?
Do you have any vets that will look at peas in your area? (many people don't).
As you will see discussed elsewhere here, a vet can prescribe baytril for your girl (and of course help you clear out the pus and/or cyst from her infection).

Tylan is tylosin and it comes in two strengths, the 50 (50mg/ml) and the 200 (200mg/ml). I have seen one of them at TSC, but don't remember which one.

X2. This clinic might be able to help you find a vet:

These guys may also be able to direct you to a vet:

The vet Casportpony referred you to is in Indy, so not too far away from you. (I hate to bring this up, but if you're thinking about going there you should ask them how much it will cost first. When our beautiful boy Boyo was poisoned, one of the bird vets I found said it would cost me at least $1100 to have him treated.)

FBC is only a few hours drive from you, maybe he knows about some vets?
And in the meantime, I'm sure someone here will let you know what you can be doing for your girl (sorry I can't help with that).

I ordered some baytril so I hope that helps. Indy is 4 hours away and all tho my birds mean everything to me I couldn't afford that. I only pay $7 for my peafowl. Male and female. I get them from babies. I know that sounds awful. I'm just not finicial able to spend that kind of money. Does that make me bad :( ?

You should absolutely not feel bad if you can't afford the vet!
The great thing about this forum is that people who know a lot about pea health (not me unfortunately) will be able to help you help your girl, without going to the vet.

Ditto.

Maybe you could find a chicken person near you that has experience in treating sinus/eye infections? What little I know about them is that once the pus mass forms, they don't go away, even with antibiotics and that they need to be cut open and have the pus removed from the sinus cavity. I've done a few at the feed store, and they lived, and I know plenty of people on BYC have done it, so i think the outcome is usually positive.
