Pullet or cockerel? (updated current pics)

Hi, I asked this question a few weeks back. Here is an updated picture, and he/she is about 6 weeks old now. Just curious on what you guys think the gender is now that it has developed more feathers. Also, can you please give me an idea on what features it has that makes you think it's a male or female? Thanks!

Update: ended up being a cockerel! Crowed three times in a row right in front of us! Thanks for all the votes on its sex. Ended up stumping the majority of us haha

It has red feathers on the wings, usually a sign of cockerel but it's still early.

Nah, those aren’t boy feathers. That pattern looks female.
Can you part the feathers around the comb and get a pic, Kody?

We can’t tell how large the comb is, because the crest obscures it.
And is there any chance you could get a full pic of the chest feathers? If those are solid black feathers coming in, that’s a concern.

Okay, yup, that’s a girl. Her comb is tiny, her pattern is female-specific, and the smudge of black chest feathers means nothing. Many pullets get that. One of mine did.

Agree this little silkie mix looks female. She is a beauty. Were you able to find her some chicken friends?

Still haven't found her any chicken friends but I do take her out daily (sometimes twice a day) and spend about couple hours at a time with her in the yard. She enjoys grazing through the yard for weeds (clover is her favorite) and bugs. She also enjoys dust bathing in the dirt. Since she was a rescue, I didn't have plans to get another chicken, but do you think it's absolutely necessary if we take time everyday to take her out in the yard with us?
