Yup. It's just the coloring, not the actual feather.

Pointy feathers do, however you have to look at the actual feather and not the pointy coloring. The coloring can easily fool you.

It depends, like @EmmaRainboe said it could just be the breed or the coloring, or it could be a "faker" you can't always be sure if only one of the signs is present.

They are not truly pointed. It is an optical illusion because of the coloring as others have stated.

They generally do, but that bird has female specific coloring, and it's the coloring rather than the shape of the hackle feathers that gives that 'pointy' appearance - sort of an optical illusion.

Actually I could be a boy because of the neck feathers, but it has no comb so...

EEs usually lack a comb
