Umm... So difficult to tell which is which. I read that a rosters comb grows before a hens. But at this age I could just have 3 advanced chicks. I didn't hatch them so have assumed they are all the same age.

Any thoughts?

Six weeks. I have three with comb developed and three not yet started. (Knowing they are all develop combs in any case)

I think they are cockerels but every photo I look at the hens combs and marking as just like it.

Thanks I was hoping the three of Them were just advanced.

We are planning on selling all 6 in any case but are in love with them all. It's great watching the chase and be chased round the garden with the two older hens.

At least we have three of each it seems. Which means we can sell them as pairs.

Will be sad to see them go as they are so friendly.

The first bird pictured is definitely a cockerel. The ones drinking from the waterer in your most recent photo, though, are pullets.
