I have tried that, and clotrimazole drying spray as well, no change.

It looks like she also has some of the yellow up inside her nostril. Just a guess, but I would wonder if it was caused by cellulitis from actinomyces, a gram positive anaerobic bacteria. It is found in the soil, and a skin scratch or injury can be an origin. It can have a bright yellow appearance.

I am pondering the possibility this is an allergic reaction. Children's Benedryl could be worth a try.

If this is bacterial as @Eggcessive thinks or a histamine caused dermatitis, I believe treating it systemically and not topically would be the best approach.

I can try the benadryl, or wait until my Amazon package shows up today and do a KOH prep test and hope I find an answer. hehe
