I have three that starting laying about a month ago they were twenty three weeks old.they sing all the time.it doesn't
bother me at all.i say let them sing i love it.

Yup, just went through the same thing 3 weeks ago and again this week. I had to put the squaker in the bathroom all day because boy was she getting LOUD and we are in very close proximity to our neighbors.....just waiting on the last one to start laying. Good thing is that my one girl who started laying a few weeks ago quieted down a few days into laying.....no she does is without a peep

thats great! The first egg is exciting..got my first three girls over weekend and have been getting three brown eggs every day since till today. Today I got two...should I worry about this?

Nothing to worry about, the girls are just getting going. This egg thing is new to them.Even when they get into their prime years they dont lay every day, some do. Out of ten layers I average 8 or so. Mine go in cycles, the last 3 days I got 9 eggs and tomorrow I will get 7 then a couple of 8 days and an occasional 9. The weird thing is every 9 days they lay 9 eggs for 3 days.I have been tracking them and this is the trend.

Hopefully the rest of your girls will follow suit in the near future.

The chirping and singing doesn't bother me, it is the squawking, in the early morning that has me concerned, as I have neighbor(4 houses) against and next to my backyard. I don't want them to hear and complain...And until yesterday the only thing I could offer as a peace offering was chicken poo...
