Purina chick starter very powdery

Interesting because my most recent bag of purina Flock raiser is very powdery as well - not the typical crumbles.

I have gotten a couple of their Non-medicated Start & Grow in 25# bags that were powdery last summer.
When I got chicks in August I bought a couple of Medicated 50# bags and they were way less powdery. GC

This one is medicated and powdery
My Non-medicated feed was less than a month old and powdery. Like Hobbits Mommie said it may have been the end of production run (bottom of the barrel). As long as it's fresh, and dosen't have a strong or moldy smell it's probably Okay to feed. I let my feeders get nearly empty monthly and clean. I use the powder at the bottom of the feeder or bag, by wetting to make a mash. My girls love it. 20180705_135538.jpg . GC
