Putting eggs in the bator on July 25, does anyone wanna hatch along???

So i have had my first of the 9 hatch. I wasn't expecting these to hatch till beginning of next week. I guess with the heat and her laying them in a hidden spot made them develop a little more while she was laying eggs still. But i candled the rest and they are all at least day 18 or over.


It is a BO over a black silkie. I didn't think my BO was doing his stuff since hes was only 5 months old when she started laying them. But this is def not for my splash silkie roo. LOL

Thanks I started with all female names when they were tiny...til they started looking like one sex or the other. Marilyn was for Marilyn Monroe (now Marilyn Manson), Slash used to be Hallee (Berry), Dali used to be Dolly (Parton), Sephiroth was Greta (but I love the villain in Final Fantasy VII so he became Sephi ) and Alice (Cooper) used to be Mae West *laughs*

I'll try to get video once mine start to rock and hatch. Hopefully they'll do it all while I'm home rather than at work >.<

All week end I have been away from my chickens and at someones house and all I want to do right now is GO HOME!!!! I miss my baby chickens (There not acually babys there just chickens)

Ok I have 4 pip and the fun has started. I had to go to work big week at work part two of the E.A. Exam. Rhonda is manding the bator so it is in good hands, lots of coffee will be drank today. I will post a picture later tonight if I have any hatched. One had pip when I got up and 3 more as I was getting ready to leave for work. I know Rhonda will have fun today watching life begain. I have most of these chicks spoken for we are keeping two of the breeds for our breeders.
