Quack-shack

Not knowing if what is at the top might eat them is something they will have to over come. You could always catch them and put them in. Once they have had a taste of what's up there they will love it I betcha. All new things are very scary.

Ok. I picked up Count Blackula and put him in the water. I dropped him in and he jumped right out, all the while filling my eyes with wing water.

I need to start wearing goggles. I’ll tell you, if here is any remote possibility of something getting into my eyes, it will lol.

I came inside and flushed my eyes out with chlorinated tap water.

But I have to post this picture of Count Blackula’s wings. Look at the blue feathers. Gorgeous! The photo doesn’t do it justice however. Some of the chocolate ladies have bright green on their wings.

Poor guys. :(

Hey you weren't suppose to drop him in just gently put him in to the water  He's been in now so hopefully he'll get up the nerve to try on his own, after they haven't been out in their new place long yet.

But boy look at the colors coming in can you see green on his head yet?

No green as of yet, but I can’t wait to see that.
He really is my favorite, for now.

Today's update.: They have partially discovered the pond. They are drinking from it on the ramp-less side. They still haven't gone onto the ramp yet. I washed away the old peas, and added a new trail of peas up the ramp.

I haven't made a ramp on the ramp-less side yet, but plan on trying to this weekend. It will have to be steeper, as there is less room. The ramp I currently have is a pretty shallow slope, which makes me wonder how good are they at inclines and declines? How steep can a ramp be and still be able to use it?
