Quack-shack

Pics
So cute!!! I just love Runners! Hope you finally got some sleep ;)

I did. I collapsed yesterday night. It was a good deep sleep. It sure was a struggle to get done, but I pulled-through. Funny thing is that they didn't make too much noise in the my house. I do have one though that likes to quack if the food gets low. It sounds like she says "What". But it isn't often.... Yet. The move to the quack-shack was less traumatic than I thought. The birds did try to put up a fight, but I was quick. I loaded them all into the first tote I had them in as a brooder before I put them in the kiddie pools...the black one. I then closed the yellow lid and transported them all together in one swoop.

Looking great and those rocks should be fine .. only on rec I’d put another ramp reason saying one of these days someone is going to not use the existing one to get down and can injure a leg or foot.. you know in your spare time :lau Honestly it is an amazing setup you have built for me them ...

Do you mean another ramp to the non-rock side? If that is what you mean, I might be able to do that.

I'm going to try the deep litter method on that side, but I'm not sure what to use. Straw, Hay? What is the best for a starter in the deep litter method.

Oh and uh... I’m glad I bought the magnet.

Yes a ramp on the non rock side just for safety I have had mine not use the ramp and limp around for a week or more better safe than sorry.

I woulds use straw. Hay is for feeding livestock not for bedding! I use straw and the ducks love it!
