LOL. So we never put a ramp to their pool b/c they struggled with the little ramp to their house. When I did the pool, we added 16" square pavers. After the multiple toe incidents, I had my husband make a set of steps. They used both the pavers and the steps. We did very low rise - i think it was 3" rise. All of that is gone now b/c I just had too many obstacles in their day pen for my klutz female Pekin. They do still have raised cots that are 4" off the ground and they use those fine. You may just want to keep trying with the ramp - place peas or meal worms on it all the way up. if they still don't use it, or fall off a lot, try pavers or steps. Wishing you luck!
I’m interested in these cots you mentioned. What are those?

So people tease me b/c I have beds for them, but the ducks love them. They are just dog cots. I like them b/c it allows airflow over and under them when they're napping which has been great in this heat. This is the best pic I have of them...

Thanks - it's seriously a never ending project. It's just a kit from TSC - we're not all great builders like you! ;) We're only good at repairs LOL. We have non-slip linoleum in the run - and yep, I just hose it down a few times a day then spray white vinegar on it at night to clean. This is not going to work in the winter once the temps get low, so we're planning on putting something around the sides to hold in heavy litter/shavings.
