Quail egg trying to hatch for 24 hours

I have a quail egg been trying to hatch. It doesn't look like it has made any progress at all. Do I need to help it??? It's been 24 hours and I'm really worried for it. I'm also nervous to help it. I really don't want it to die. What do I do????

It looks like it is pipping in thee wrong area as well.

Is this the pip? It's hard to tell in the picture. If that is the pip, then this chick is malpositioned, and I think I see it's beak. It may already be dead, but it is definitely going to need help.

I got this this far with it and i don't think it is fully ready just yet because of the blood vessels. Also he has coconut oil on him because its membrane started to shrink. I followed that article you sent so hopeful it comes out safe and sound.
