Quail hatch. Follow along.

Great to hear the other chicks are doing well. Sorry I haven't been checking this thread very often. Sorry that one passed away. I hope they all continue to grow and become stronger and bigger with each passing day.
Yes all of them were fine this morning. No problem, thank you for your condolences and wishes.

Today is day 20-21 of incubation for the third batch and day 7 for the 4th batch. All eggs are doing great. I haven't had another chick pass since the first one, I got my second brooder yesterday and separated the 2 different batches. So far the 2 chicks I helped hatch are doing great. The one with curled toes doesn't have them anymore, I corrected them with tape and he is perfectly fine. The first batch of chicks are starting to fly out of the brooder so I had to put a net over it. Overall everything is going smooth and good.

Yeah, at 1 week they can jump and fly out of a fairly tall brooder!

The older chicks sound like their trying to become poprocks.
Yes lol. I didn't notice but when I did a head count this morning I only had 10 instead of 11. To say the least, I went on a wild goose chase for about an hour looking for the one that flew out. I eventually found him. I don't know he got out even with the net over it.
