Do this ASAP and put bricks or logs around the bottom to try and deter predators from digging underneath. Looks cute!

Yep. Got that done yesterday and added some iron bars. My dogs have sniffed around and when a couple tried pawing at the sides I yelled NO and they backed off. Can watch them with my security cam that I installed in there.

I have finally completed it! Just need to add some grape plants to the front. Letting them grow larger in the greenhouse first before moving them to the spots in front.

The quails have adjusted to their new home. It's fun to watch them jump around in there.
They're just lazing around most of the time.

Congratulations! I am trying to figure out how to build an affordable aviary for my quail! I bought a large run like this for chickens, and now feel I shouldn't spend that much again for another for the quail. But they have to be separated by a good 20 or 30 feet for biosecurity. So for now, my quailies are in the house in convenient cages for egg production. I am sad though. Your quails look very happy in their outdoor enclosure. What is your climate like?
