I didn't find anything for a specific quail thread so I thought I would start one! Talk about your QUAIL, post pictures, etc!

Was just planning on how to make little boxes for them out of tree branches and logs. Give them more hidding places and when time comes maybe they will lay eggs in them...

Ooooh and i have eggs ( if still cooking, this batch wasnt as good ) that will go into lockdown thursday so if all goes well pictures of litttle quail fluff butts!!

I know i asked before... but what type or Coturnix is this cant remember what yall called the color......?

Haha for some reason i kept thinking painted instead of Rosetta
where painted came from... .,??????
I love them to they are my favorite and i get 2-5 every hatch. I really hope there are both male and females in it they are so pretty!

My favourite too.

I know Button quails as Chinese Painted quails so maybe that's where the painted came from? (Probably not though).

I am Obsessed with my quail!!! I even have broody tuxedo coturnix.

We have 7 little egg fairies and are hoping to add some more! So far we have a mixed color flock so it should be interesting to see what hatches...
