Quarantine birds

:weeYay! Hope the mites will all ”disappear” now!
Me too!
Day 10: Weighed and dewormed them all today (using Valbazen). Dusted them all again, but we saw NO mites on any of the birds. The sour crop bird has gotten better as well. Again, her name is Coal-a. She has recovered, so no monistat today. They are still afraid of Kiki.
Going to deworm them one last time in 4 days.

We are about half way through the quarantine period. Can't wait to be able to feed the two flocks together!

Day 17: No more updates until deworming day! They are bonding really well...still afraid of Kiki though.
I said I wasn't going to update, but I will!

Day 18: Washed Festia today and dusted her again. She had the worst infestation, so I just wanted to be safe. Also, I see nothing wrong with the new birds, so I will add a few "scapegoats" from the old flock in with the new flock in a few days. I will do this slowly until everyone is in the new coop. Trying to not think about having to deworm the new flock for the second time and then having to deworm the "other" flock too, but I am sure we will figure it out. Its going good guys! Very happy! :)

Happy for them!

Day 20: Visited the "other" flock. I really do miss them! Haven't been visiting much, but cleaned their coop and nesting boxes every few days. Planning on deworming them at night and then moving a few of them in with the new flock. I think I will deworm the new flock today.

Dewormed the new flock. Going to deworm the other flock tomorrow morning. I am getting good at deworming by myself!
