Interesting that in the third paragraph of 'a' it states "It is therefore important to have pullets, prior to lay, on a high level of calcium to store it on body." Does this mean that there should be calcium available to the pullets before the 'expected' laying dates? If so, how long before as the article also talks about potential damage further on?

I've been working on a project about eggs/eggshells and I just came across that page in my research.
