Question about dewormers

So my wife and I have had chickens for a couple years now. This year, we got some turkeys and ducks as well. We let out the ducks once they're nearly full grown and they tend to stay out around the pond and rarely come back into the pen or coop at night, but we do keep them in the pen with the chickens until theyre big. Our turkeys no matter the age are shut up at night with the chickens and roam during the day, then go back in themselves just like the chickens. Now, I know a few others that keep all theyre birds together and have had no problems, but my wife read about chickens getting cecal worms and them killing turkeys, so she wants to find a preventative treatment for our birds. Ive been around chickens all my life and never even knew chickens could get worms. Ive looked online and cant seem to find anything as just a prevetative for cecal worms in chickens, never mind one that all our birds can have. Does anyone know of anything?

I have been doing some research on this because I have a couple chickens with runny stools. Not sure I have a worm problem, but I did learn a couple things. Food grade diatomaceous earth in their food or scratch & peck area will dry up worms, and is harmless. I sprinkle it in my chicken coops all the time because it is also good for preventing mites. Some people said you can put ACV in their water for a week every month which makes an unfriendly environment for pests, but I have also heard others say that doesn't work. That's the thing. When you ask a question you get conflicting responses and just have to make a decision as to which idea sounds the best to you. Good luck. Regardless of what you do specifically for the potential worms, FGDE will not hurt your birds, so it's a safe thing to try.
