Question about double yoker chick? Sad ending

I just don't know how to begin. Last night the chick started acting like it was not happy or comfortable. , wouldn't settle down with the other chicks, chirping constantly, and very loudly. He was still walking around . I got him to drink some water with chick electrolytes in it. I checked on him during the night and he was resting with the other chicks. This morning he was very weak and not responsive. I got a little electrolyte water in him and just held him. He just passed away in my hand. I'm just heartbroken. This was my special little baby.

I'm so sorry to hear that. It really was a very special baby.

Psalms 50:10-11
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills."I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine.

Thank you so much for the kind words, they really mean allot. I'm sorry to say I hadn't named him/her yet. My oldest daughter always seems to come up with the best names for my chicks, and she hadn't thought of one yet. I do know that I will never deliberately try to hatch another double yoke egg. I will always wonder if he had some internal problem or complication from being a double yoke baby. When he first hatched his little body was so fat that he couldn't stand up well. Whats even more heartbreaking is he was the only one of the 18 chicks that I knew I was going to keep. I hatched them for a friend of mine, and I just thought he was so special.
