My baby chicks were hatched April 16th; I got a call from Ideal this morning telling me that my Guinea fowl will be ready to ship on May 28th.
I plan to move the chicks (who will be 1-1/2 months old by then) to the chicken coop so I will have the brooder free for the Guineas. How old should the Guineas be before I move them in with the chickens?
Or should I move the brooder into the chicken coop so that the hens will be used to the Guineas and vise-versa?
