Hi ,
First of all I can not resist complementing BYC for it's very large effords to make this forum a place for every chickenowner , or those who are simply interested in it or are planning it . A lot of people have already said " but it is so easy to keep chickens ! " , well I agree but also do I not agree for the following reason(s) : first of all , we are all individuals like our chickens , some are better in seeing what could be the state of their chickens , some just lack that eye to see if there is something wrong , and yes despite many effords some are just not even capable of caring for a hamster and there is no one to blame for it ofcourse . For that reason I can not say other than the fact that BYC has become a place of importance for every owner of chickens , wether it is just for a hobby , as a dearest pet , a farm , no matter what the goals are in keeping chickens , BYC managed to help you out , ofcourse not without its numerous members that are always in for a reply to questions of concern or just curiosity aka learning about , with respect . Not once did I see any disrespect on this forum and that involves both the members as it involves BYC , because without good management it could have been less mature and chaotic . That is why I find that this forum distinguishes itself from many other out there , but ok this is of topic , so shall I go on topic ? ;-)
My question here is this : I do have an album online with photographs of run , coop , the construction of it , the chickens , my gone but not forgotten chickens etcetera BUT each time I did an upload from such album to a forum it also gives away my full name ( as it is on my online album ) and I just do not like that fact due the dangers of internet because usually my child , a girl is a lot on those pictures too , which is fine by me to be shown on some pictures but I just wonder that if a picture from any online album is shared , will it also give away any other information ? for example when anyone clicks on my uploaded picture , is it possible that anyone gets acces to the entire album or the name of the album and picture or is this NOT the case ? I realize that this question may sound as if I am " worldstrange " but to be fair I do not often put photographs online anymore since I have quit my old job due privacy reasons as the word says itself ... I do not often use the internet and certainly NOT regarding pictures so I am sorry if this question sounds like " do you not know anything at all about internet ?? " but I really do not know how much is actually possible to see if I upload a pic out of an album that has other content in it too so can you please explain this a little bit to me as it is often just a must to upload a photograph or just fun to show atleast how your coop looks like , and your fluffy buts but I do not wanna be worrying about " omg what if they click on the photo and find my album and see all the other stuff " , hoping this makes a bit sense and to get some more information , I do thank you in advance ...

: the pics I wanted to share on that forum were already on the internet but not visable to others because you could just click on your privacysettings there wether you wanted your photoalbum to be public or not , so I clicked that it would NOT be public so anyone googling my name can NOT find the album itself , only the pics if u wanted them to be visable on a forum suddenly were ALL visable due to the link of that album (yet ONLY THAT album ! ) once it was uploaded so before I even knew people were not just looking at the picture I uploaded but also at ( for example ) pics that we (my family ) made of our private life because when ( I tested it because I noticed a huge increase of views ) I logged in to the particular forum and clicked my picture I had shared , oddly enough when you had clicked that ONE pic you could just go to ALL my info (?!) , they suddenly knew my full name because in the link of the picture itself you could see , example : 
and sometimes it is just a necissarity to share a picture when you doubt the sex of a chick , when one has some injuries or odd looking things or just any other things of relevance to this forum actually , I want to put some pictures here but I havent done it once yet due to fear of what happened on another forum and due the fact this forum is awesome but the internet is just a dangerous place too , especially concern about my child to b fair with you ( I do share some pics with her but NOT in case she is wearing a bikini etc if you know what I mean by all this ? ) , just trying to figure out how it works on privacy in case you use pics from albums via links used
