Quick please! Blue or Black Ameraucanas which is better?

pips&peeps :

Blue roo, black hen, blue hen......

I agree that way you will produce some nice colors and also some good blues.

Well I believe these are my birds as a matter of fact I know they are! They came from seabrightmom on here and are nice birds. the black roo is pretty darn good except for 2 wing feathers tipped at the verry tip with white which I was hoping would molt out this year since he isn't even a year old which none of them are yet and still have some growing to do. Some of them do lay eggs that are tinted to the minty sidewhile others lay light shades of blues. If you like I can catch them all up and let you pick in person. I'm gonna have a bunch of chicks out of these if they all hatch so I won't be in short supply. lol

Well I had a change of plans and got my birds from encorepistol today instead of tomorrow. I am very happy with them. They are beautiful birds. I wound up choosing the black roo, 1 black pullet, and 2 blue pullets. I will post pics when I can.

Aimee you can pm him to see if he wants to sell the rest. He has 2 really pretty blue roos and I think one each of blue, black , and splash pullets. I'm no breeder but these look like really nice birds to me and I dont think you can beat the price either.

I dont have any of my black pullet. She was trying to lay and I didnt want to disturb her.

Very pretty! Get that boy some more girls though those hens backs are ruffed up and anyway its a good excuse to get more chickens. I really like them allot congrats!

They are beautiful. I love the black rooster. (maybe I'll have to keep mine if I have a roo)

Now you need some marans hens so you can make olive eggers.
