Quiet Ducks ????

I'm pretty sure that was me. Relatively speaking in the world of muscovy ducks - the quacking hiss is loud. In the world of all domesticated ducks - the quacking hiss is like a whisper. Like when you have laringitis and try to speak.

My drake runners have always been kind of on the quiet side. They mostly only quacked when you got to close to the nest, but even then it wasn't loud. The females are very verbal and when looking or calling for their loved ones, VERY loud. So as long as you don't want eggs or breeding, I'd say drake runners are ok. Sweet of you to consider your neighbors though.
