Cicely is about 15 months old, been broody 3 times, hatched whatever eggs were around and raised very good free range birds. Anyway, she "weaned" her current chicks at 10 weeks when the little cockerel started trying to crow ( they are inadvertently able to be sexed based on color and pattern for the bantams ( golden sebright rooster crossed with spangled oegb,mille fleur d'uccle, mille fleur d'uccle x jubilee orpington cross bantams) only a small test group of 5 hatches ranging from 2 to 6 but so far correct..

Cicely often chooses to sleep on the front porch rather than the back ,by herself.in bad weather she has been known to let herself in the cat/dog door, the only one to try it..
