(Hugs) I totally know how you feel, I have lost at least three chicks this year, all within the same time frame, two little Sussex's, and a GLW, and the sad part was I tried CPR and little chest compressions and even mouth to beak, but it wasn't enough... I will always be here for you, my shoulder is open.

Oh, one of the chicks got stuck in a long box that we had in the pen as a barrier so they couldn't get out, the second sussy was probably just not healthy, and the Wyandotte, oh boy, got out somehow and froze.

It gets really cold in Washington, I currently have a jacket on, and my dog has a dog blanket.
Thanks for the hug, after a while it gets easier, my sister mourned her rooster for oh so long, and after her oranda GF died, she got over it.

I understand though, I lost my scissor beak pullet on my bday, two years ago, but if we didn't lose some, we couldn't make room for more.

Sad yes, but there was nothing I could do, and she is happier where she is, with all our other passed critters.
