You know, I guess feeling as I would be so fortunate to even own a Giant Angora we're not picky about color. I suppose when I'm ready to begin dyeing I would want white. But as for my first bunny bun bun,

- maybe give me the runt, or the one no one took home. We'll love it. Yeah, I'm not crazy about the red eyes (though "red" is my fav color for other things, other than eyes. Can you say Visine? ha ha ha)

Oh, I'm a crocheter. Taught self basic knitting, but it just goes too slow for me and machine knitting seems like cheating, IMHO, LOL. Way to go on those socks. You're more woman than I am, phew weee, socks, awww man.

Debi R.,

You don't ship do you? If I recall you're in Cali.???? So much to remember with trying to learn about animal husbandry and organic farming.

We do ship, however it is up to YOU to find transport. It runs about $30-$45 a head.

ETA: The reason for this is because we won't take responsibility for transport, for obvious reasons. So if you can find someone that does RELIABLE transport, yes we ship. I have good and bad experiences. The bad ones leave your rabbit in a small cage on the road for way too long.

Surprisingly I like the runts too. One of my Ameraucanas is the smallest and "runty" but she is quick and smart. I am going to take whatever nice little bunny Debi has when the time comes for me to get one.

Ok, so if I rent an apartment (which my SO and I will one day, my parents' house is on short sale), do I just tell them I have a cat?

Honesty is the best policy, really. You may need to teach them about house rabbits so they understand they are FAR less destructive than cats.

What I meant was, if the pet policy is dogs and cats allowed, do I just tell them that I have a house rabbit instead?

I would just tell them you have a rabbit. Most landlords are less likely to care about rabbits, especially because they tend to assume they will be in a cage 24/7.
