Hopefully it won't leak. I used over a tube and a half of caulk and one of construction adhesive. Looking forward to seeing how much light it lets in.

what do you use then all the old timers i know always used newspaper when they have hatched baby chicks and they turned out fine? thanks
something with more texture. Paper towels? i just use paper towels the first week or less, as by then they seem able to handle the small shavings and find the food/water.

anxious to see how the skylight works out. That's the worst part about my huge metal roof, they don't get enough sun shining in often enough.I use puppy pads for the first week or so. Then pine shavings.
