Did you weigh the tiny Reds already? One of them does not seem to grow at all?
No, but one is a tad bit bigger, and has more tail growth, but they are almost the same size. The Red LH's are small birds, they dont get as big as the whites.
They are so cute, but I think had I known they were more fragile I probably wouldnt have gotten them.

The white and red chicks got tired and wanted a nap, so I put them in a nesting box, I brought them all into the house at 4, and they all are asleep in the brooder

I typically move my chicks into the coop at 2 weeks. I keep them in the brooder and let them out to run around the run when I can be right there watching them. At 3 week, the older hens are use to the chicks and I dont have be right there, but I still listen and watch. At 3 weeks, last year, the hens and the rooster were sleeping up on the roost. They didnt have a problem getting up there.

This year its different due to having 2 different ages and the Red LH's are a smaller bird.
the Red LH's and White Orp. have bonded with the Brown LH's. If I remove the Browns from the brooder I feel the younger ones wont do as well. It wont hurt to keep them together one more week, as long as the Browns can handle it.

Good job! are they hen hatch or incubator?
I did a hen hatch once and the hen nailed the chick with her foot and it died,,,
I am hoping this time next year to be able to do hen hatch again.

I love it when they think you cant see them Hahahahaha
Incubator. I have had some broody's but put them in the incubator. I still have a few RC RIR eggs in the incubator due to hatch this week.
