Chicks got to go out after I had the mowing done, about 3pm
they had a great dirt bath.
they will be 3 weeks old on Tuesday

My big girls are acting a little more aggressive toward the 8 week olds sometimes, but nothing too harsh. Just letting them know how to act and who's boss.

My little 3 week olds are in the outdoor coop now with constant heat source going, food, water and deep woodchip mulch bedding.

I picked up several of the teenagers today. I didn't grab them, I just pushed my hand into the front of them until they jumped on it, then lifted them up for a while.

it is time consuming but our interaction makes for a better flock i think. I would have LOVED if one of the broodies took an interest in mothering but NO!
