Oh my goodness... I feel you --- it's not people coming by though, it's just the ENDLESS phone calls!

We haven't sent in our ballots yet, so they think that we are the swing vote or something, and we are getting, NOT KIDDING 20+ calls from random politicians ALL DAY LONG.


I have seriously considered disconnecting the phone. Oh well, it ends tomorrow though, because that's election day, and we'll be dropping our ballots off then.

My kids got political crap attached to candy while trick or treating (with instructions for mom and dad to vote for these people)! I mean, come on!! I will be Soooooo glad when tomorrow is over!

These last several elections are why I want a "None of the Above" category on the ballot.

I live directly across the street from the polling place. There were people out there tonight at 10pm still putting up signs. Sadly, none of them seem to take them down. Sigh.

My mom has been so upset over the constant contact via phone,mail,and home visits. She was out working in the yard the other day and saw 2 men coming. *I am gonna let them have it* she thought to herself thinking it was people pushing politics. LOL,turns out it was Jehovah Witnesses who politely said," I see you are very busy,so I just wnated to leave this pamphlet with you." So lucky it was not a politician!

I don't answer my phone as it is recorded political messages.Unfortunately when my machine kicks on the political message starts rolling. I was really annoyed by the political stuff wrapped on my mailbox flag.I have to take a knife to it they tied it on so well,and for that I sent them a nasty note.

One of our local car dealers has put an ad on the TV it says heres your happy place 30 seconds of no political TV ads and it goes totally quiet , I think I love that guy I am so sick of these ads and they claim that is the way to get elected trash your opponent never mind the issues the common people dont understand them anyway Me I went Independent years ago and stopped all the junk mail Now if I could only get DH to do the same Whats worse is when you have several registered voters in the same house you get a copy of each person, Talk about a paper trail.

Dont get any unwanted visitors If they can get past the 5 large dogs in the yard they can say whatever lol
