Were you at the show Friday? I was there only for Friday. had a few birds for sale and just wanted to look around. It was my first show and it was nice actually seeing the breeds in person, those runts are really HUGE! Anyway, just wondering if I seen any of you? My whole family was there, we stuck out like a sore thumb!! Were you showing?

I came Saturday to pick up some birds. I havent shown in years. I showed once and a week after the show 95% of my birds died of PMV. I am very nervous about contagious diseases. They are worse than hawks. Plus 40% of birds dont seem to do well health wise at shows. Too much stress. The sale section can look even worse. I use the show as a good place to pick up birds. Cheaper for me to drive than to ship.

What colors are you currently working on

In giant homers I am working on recessive red and yellow, almond, pied, and opal
In horsemen I'm working with khaki, khaki bar, brown bar, dun grizzle, and Andalusian blue
I'm also working with pied, white, and ashred kings, opal bar and white bar rollers, almond parlor rollers, tiger/grizzle parlor tumblers, and white and blonde ringneck doves

Can't wait to see your pics, I raise horseman too. What flying style does the parlor tumbler have? Thanks,

The parlor tumbler doesn't fly. You throw it up in the air and it back flippes down and catches itself right before it touches the ground and the parlor roller does summer salts on the ground when frightened or you can manually make it summer salt by flipping it backwards, they actually have contests for this breed and the longest rolling distance was over 600 ft.
They are both very fun and interesting breeds
