Hello
I received some fresh cut off the pig feet. I want to feed this to our dog but I'm not sure how to process them. I know you should not cook these as that makes bones unsafe for dogs. How do I prep these feet ... just wash and give to him? Should they be frozen for a time to kill bacteria? Any help is appreciated. I've been trying to look online with no luck.
Thank you!

I would boil them till the bone pulls out cleanly. Toss the bone and feed the meat to the dog. I wouldn't ever give a dog raw pork.

True for chicken regarding bones (and maybe beef).. pork should never be fed raw to dogs.. as they can suffer from trichinosis..

ETA: a whole list of results from my google search just using the words raw, pork, & dog..

I've spoken to vets who say raw pork feet and ears are great for dogs gums, teeth and digestive system. Was told to be sure not to cook it because that will make bone soft and splinter which is very bad for dogs.

I guess I will just call vet back and ask on proper process to prep it for raw consumption with bone
