His body feels stiffer and his wattle is duller and darker.
I don't know what happened, but his wattle was dry and flaky white looking when i found him, could he have been sick?
He was one of my newest chickens too
and so adorable, i loved him so much
I think im going to see if i can take a college class that will better help me understand how to care for my birds, if they have one, my luck they probably dont.
I hope he went peacefully, i put him in a warm place and held him up to me, thats all i knew to do. I really hope i can learn how to keep my poultry safe from now on.
So very sorry to hear the outcome - I was hoping for you and for him that he would survive.
You did all you could to help him and hopefully you will learn as we all do here that sometimes despite our best efforts they do die. be proud of yourself!
