Someone obviously messed up somewhere. :-( I'm sorry!

I doubt they'll refund shipping (since priority is approx. 2-3 days, but the only "guranteed" method of shipping is Express), but I hope they do admit their mistake and do so!

Whether or not they give any $$ back, I believe they need to know what was done. It just isnt right. They arrived in three days only because the postmaster went to retrieve them himself, which I really appreciate, I really do. If he'd put them back in the system, no telling if I'd have ever gotten them.

Nope, I had Oct and Nov hatches then started back in January. I have to quit except for hatching chicks to sell, though. No more room!

LOL I wish I could hatch as many chicks as you. My first year hatching and I only get to hatch 2 batches. That stinks. Next year I am ordering as many hatching eggs as I possibly can and can afford.

Holy cow! This almost scares me into not trying to hatch anymore shipped eggs this year. I might be done too. You know, for some reason what they did to your package doesn't surprise me Cyn. That is soooo government! Doing something wrong and plotting a cover for it. I'm glad that you finally got the eggs though. That was super nice of your post master to drive to get them. Now it's time for all of us to cross our fingers that these babies will hatch for you!

Thanks, Stacey. It was a weird situation, to be sure. I just hope they weren't bounced too badly or left in a very hot place. They are beautiful eggs, some jumbo size. Cross everything in hopes of a great hatch! There are 15 blue/black/splash Orps and 5 Buff Orps. Suede needs women!!!
