Real Men Wear Skin Lotion.....right?

Ms.FuzzyButts :

My husbands hands were so dry, they would crack open. He wouldn't use lotion either. So I bought him some stuff called O'Keefe's Working Hands.. You can only get it online or at a hardware store like Lowe's... I found it at Lowe's in the paint department. I guess because folks that paint for living get thinner on their hands which is a super skin drying chemical agent!! It seems a little pricey at $8.00.. But it lasts a long time because it is almost like a tub of wax. He uses it daily and in less than a week, his cracked hands were almost healed. Now his hands don't crack anymore and are baby smooth. It says it can be used for hands and feet. But I have used it on my arms and legs since I get dry skin in the winter really bad. So I don't see why it wouldn't work on your DH's head. It doesn't have a smell to it and feels nice going on. I will be buying it from now on. We have been very impressed with it. You can go to their website to read about it and punch in your zip code to find a retailer near you. http://www.okskinco.com/

I get it at DuluthTrading, a great site for workclothes for men and women, and for other things like handcreams.

I started putting on gloves to wash dishes and put on handlotion before I put the gloves on. The hot water keeps the pores open so the lotion soaks in better. Like a spa hand treatment for free!

Actually I was just kidding. My DW hates the smell of gas or oil or even Goop hand cleaner. I hate the smell of those things too. When I was a kid I used to like to rebuild carburetors. My Dad hated the smell of the carb cleaning stuff. Back then it was toxic and actually cleaned them really well. This guy at the parts store told me that the best way to clean the stuff off the carb was to put the pieces in the dishwasher. It stunk up the house for 2 weeks. My Dad wanted to kill me. The guy at the parts store thought it was funny that the goofy 16 year old would believe him.

I wear those pansie gloves now when I work on cars.

You MUST be related to my DH. He uses this stuff from walmart, it's okay, but... I've begged him to let me buy him some Polo. When he runs out of his "just okay" stuff, he goes in the bathroom closet and gets a bottle of his dad's aqua velvet out. His dad has been dead 15 years.

I am armed with knowledge of what most men like. I appreciate that! DH is from the old school and now I have an idea of what to get that I know won't bother him. I'm going to go with something on the organic side that's not too floral, yet manly.......but not Irish Spring.

That's for the deer so they don't bother my tomatoes.

I was kidding too...

There's a ton of men's moisturizing stuff out there now so I shouldn't be hard to find something.

(my DH loves goatsmilk soap.......... orchid scent) But he doesn't smell at all flowery.
