Really weird egg. What is it? Please help

Hi everyone! All of my chickens are about 2 years old and are healthy, but today I found this egg in the grass while they were free-ranging. While it looks like an egg, it’s heavier and the white thing coming off of it is like rubber. I’ve read that chickens that lay these type of eggs usually die a couple months later. Is that true? I’ve never experienced a weird egg before, so I’m hoping it’s nothing. If you have any idea what’s going on, what this is, what’s causing it or anything else, please let me know. Thanks!

It is a normal egg covered by an egg membrane, a glitch in the egg process. The powdery apearance of the egg shell might be calcium.
