Recommendations for next animals

We recently added a potbelly pig to our farm and she is most definitely the farm favorite. So much personality and super smart. We also have sheep, goats, cows, horses, llamas, ducks, chickens, recently sold all our pigeons and quail. There is not much we don't have or have had. Can answer questions about any of them.

How aggressive are they? Could we free range them in our yard(we live in suburban area with some woods)

I have a pilgrim gander and he’s very nice. It is a common misconceptions that geese are aggressive. While some may not be too friendly at times (mating and hatching season during spring), they can be absolutely lovely. Pilgrim, buff, toulouse (may have spelled that incorrectly), embden, and Chinese are known to be great breeds for beginners, and naturally docile.
And I’d highly recommend free ranging geese as they need to be able to move and flap their wings, also they for the most part eat grass and weeds that they find.

On the right is my Pilgrim gander. He’s absolutely lovely to my ducks (although if he sees my drake trying to have his way with my females he tells him what’s what). He also tolerates my chickens, he will hang around with them and he isn’t mean, but for the most part doesn’t care about them. I will be getting another goose as soon as I find a pilgrim who doesn’t already have a mate.

Mine are not at all human aggressive. It depends on the bird and the breed. I have Roman Tufted and Embden x Toulouse. My gander is not friendly when his lady is sitting but he still wont attack. I have them on 1/2 acre with 4 ft fences. Ask the breeder if they can fly many will tell you that domestic breeds can't, mine took out powerlines at previous owners, hence they have a wing clipped. Mine are not loud ever really either. They can be if there is a predator but other than that never.

Ducks are kinda neat, but they really are very messy.

I vote for pheasant or quail for other poultry. I enjoy turkey, but so much harder to deal with than pheasant or quail.

Pheasant are very tasty and much better sized than quail.

I have one nagging question about geese- is it a sharp hard teeth thing at the end of their beak?

Nope, it’s not sharp. It’s pretty well rounded at the tip. However they do have teeth in their mouth, but frankly that’s just for cutting grass and clovers etc. another good thing about geese is if there’s a predator you’ll know because they will make a bunch of noise... which brings me to a downfall about geese, if you’re worried about having a noisy bird I’d go with something else because geese can be very loud when they want to.
