I don’t find them ... that scary but they are...unique.

Ummm, when it comes to native wildlife down there being “scary or dangerous”... I really have to wonder if anyone in your country has a “normal” benchmark for said “scary and dangerous”, no offense! But with brown snakes, taipans, funnel webs... you may be a little desensitized

I know... one of my best friends is Australian, he lived here for about 5 years... but you do have a very large percentage of dangerous creatures! Im not a completely ignorant Canadian... he was even more freaked out by spiders than I am...

Me too ~ but I have lived other places. Frankly there's things I find way scarier than our wild life ~ like Swiss mountain roads with no guard rails...
