red blood in poop

Brand new chicken owner. Three days ago I bought a two month old orpington and a three month old orpington. This morning I noticed blood in the poop under the roost. The blood was bright red and in three poops. I'm not sure which chicken it came from. Thoughts?

Chickens are both eating and drinking this morning. They appear to be acting normal (from what I can tell with my limited knowledge of chickens).

Hi there. It could be coccidiosis. You can treat for that with no harm in doing so.

I would run, not walk to the nearest store that sells Corid.

Thanks. I'm feeding them medicated feed already. Can I give them the Corid on top of that?

I would switch them to an unmedicated feed and treat with Corid right away.

Medicated feed does not prevent Coccidiosis outbreaks.
Get Corid asap.

Feed store said they had powder and liquid. Any preference between the two?
